Knife Laws & Rights

State Laws

Each state has its own unique set of knife laws, meaning the style, blade length and storage of your carry can differ from state to state. We encourage you to consult and stay well informed of your home state's laws and rights, as well as the laws of any state to which you plan to travel with your knife in tow.

TSA Regulations

As of April 5, 2013, certain pocketknives are now allowed on aircraft in carry-on luggage.

However, if you plan to travel with your Southern Grind knife, pack it securely in your checked luggage only.

Please note that TSA regulations change frequently, therefore if you are planning air travel with your Southern Grind knife, please visit the TSA site to confirm the latest regulations.
